For many of us, an effective, focused warm-up is too often neglected, and can lead to improper form and potential injury. If you’re looking to properly loosen and prepare your spine for a day of intense movement or jarring impact, this spinal rotational movement could be perfect for you.
Keep in mind the following:
1.Push up plus- I added in this push up to help expand through my upper back and set ribcage
2. Focus on optimal length from your heel to your hands
3. Slowly rotate and “roll” over until your seated on the floor
4. Reverse the direction by reaching up with your hand and rolling back over to the floor
This movement feels best when done at a slower tempo where you can feel yourself slowly articulating through your spine.
